Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 17 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as thymus and activation regulated chemokine (TARC). CCL17 is expressed constitutively in thymus, but only transiently in phytohemagglutinin-stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells. This chemokine specifically binds and induces chemotaxis in T cells and elicits its effects by interacting with the chemokine receptor CCR4. The gene is located on chromosome 16, in humans, along with other chemokines called CCL22 and CX3CL1.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the CCL17 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
Mouse partial recombinant protein (AA 34-103) was used as the immunogen for this CCL17 antibody.
After reconstitution, the CCL17 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
