Description

Cationic amino acid transporter 3 (CAT-3) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the SLC7A3 gene. This gene encodes a member of the solute carrier family 7. The encoded protein is a sodium-independent cationic amino acid transporter. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcripts that encoded the same protein. The International Radiation Hybrid Mapping Consortium mapped the SLC7A3 gene to the X chromosome.

Application Notes

Optimal dilution of the CAT-3 antibody should be determined by the researcher.

Immunogen

Amino acids NQPSRKSRAKTVDLDPGTLYVHSV from the human protein were used as the immunogen for the CAT-3 antibody.

Storage

After reconstitution, the CAT-3 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
