Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 13C (TNFRSF13C), also known as BAFF-R, is a protein in humans is encoded by the TNFRSF13C gene. The gene is mapped to chromosome 22q13.1-q13.31. It has got 184 amino acid transmembrane protein which is 56% identical to the mouse protein. B cell-activating factor enhances B-cell survival in vitro and is a regulator of the peripheral B-cell population. BAFF plays a crucial role in B cell development and can function through receptors other than BCMA.
The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the BAFF-R antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.
An amino acid sequence from the N-terminus of human BAFF Receptor (MRRGPRSLRGRDAPA) was used as the immunogen for this BAFF-R antibody.
After reconstitution, the BAFF-R antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4oC. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20oC. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
